To make sure this happens, we have a hard-working team of more than 140 young, creative individuals, from over 27 countries around the world. On our facebook page under, “life at trivago" you can have the first glimpse of what happens in the office – and day-by-day we'll tell you even more via our blog. A large brand can sometimes be mistaken as a very serious, intimidating, money-making machine— but at trivago, this philosophy could not be further from the truth! "trivago: water for all": help us to help others!

As you know, trivago is always on the go, and with the start of the new season, we present the latest news: "trivago water for all"!

From 30th September until 31st October, for each new "like" of our new official fan page, trivago will donate $1 to "Charity: Water": a non-profit organization that supplies clean water to developing countries.

This association, in just 5 years, has already helped to complete many projects that have guaranteed over 2 million people access to clean, safe water.

How to find the best price on trivago

If you have ever tried to imagine the faces and scenes behind the first hotel price comparison site in Europe, you can have a peek directly via your computer. The live webcam will show you what happens in the Düsseldorf headquarters 24 hours a day!

A warm welcome to the trivago fans!

It’s a great pleasure and honour for us to welcome you to the new trivago official Facebook fan page. Well… we are not really new here, as someone of you may have noticed - we had more than 15 local, semi-official and unofficial profiles already open, but until now not yet the ONE. We are in FB version 1.0 and have a lot still to come (challenges & more...), but we hope you already like this new layout!
In a period of new and big challenges (google+ is ready to be launched, as well as other social networks and mobile apps yet to come...), we thought it was the right time and place to open a direct channel of communication with our users, who we don’t yet know directly because trivago, as a Hotel price search, doesn’t have a direct customer relationship with them.

The trivago hotel search is now available on the iPhone, giving travellers already on the road the ability to find their ideal hotels faster than ever. With the free trivago iPhone app, users can search for hotels in their chosen city or region, or alternatively use the iPhone’s geolocation feature and search for hotels in close proximity to their current location. The app shows at a glance the prices offered by online booking agencies and hotel chains for over 400,000 hotels worldwide.
